Modern DIY Home is an independent publication about modern DIY home improvement: the upgrades that change how a house performs and looks, planned and executed by owners with a weekend, a budget and no desire to redo it in a year.
We build what we publish, on real properties, and document the sequence, the tools, the true bill and the calls we had to make to a tradesperson. Where a job crosses into regulated work, we say so at the top rather than at the bottom.
